Coronavirus

(COVID-19) is a new strain of coronavirus first identified in Wuhan City, China.  The current outbreak of Covid-19 (aka Coronavirus) is becoming an increasing issue Worldwide, with many new cases being reported within the UK daily over the past two weeks.

We are monitoring this situation very closely and wish to reiterate that the health of our employees and individuals we come into contact with is of the upmost importance to us.

We can confirm that a number of precautionary steps have already been taken to protect our people and the service we provide. These measures include:

  • Extensive communication to all employees regarding the importance of following basic hygiene protocols in line with World Health Organisation and Public Health England guidance. (This predominantly relates to washing hands regularly and good hygiene relating to coughs and sneezes.)
  • Issuing all Company drivers and vehicles with sanitary hand gels and wipes.
  • Providing Drivers with styluses to be used on handheld devices and disposable antibacterial wipes to clean their handheld units if requested at any point of delivery.
  • Increased antibacterial cleaning regularly throughout all sites.

At this point, we have no suspected cases of Covid-19 Coronavirus reported at any of our sites, however, if we did face this situation, we would follow all advice issued by Public Health England, including reporting any outbreak to them immediately and we would ask the individual to self-isolate for the required 14 day incubation period as advised.

As stated, we are constantly monitoring this situation and therefore, should circumstances change, further communications will be provided at that point.
